The new Customs Area Controller of Kirikiri Lighter Terminal, Comptroller Martina Tilly Gyado who was handed over the mantle of leadership in a brief ceremony, by the newly posted Seme Border Command Area Controller, Comptroller Timinadi Bomodi, has formally assumed duty, on 15th September, 2023 in Lagos.   Speaking at the ceremony, Comptroller Timinadi Bomodi,  during his handing-over speech at the conference hall disclosed his performance for the last eight months.  Bomodi disclosed further that, he led the Command from January to mid-September 2023, adding that the Command raked in N36.93 Billion, representing a 22.44% increase when compared to the N30.16 Billion it generated during the same period in 2022, noting that it represents 59.37% of the total expected revenue for 2023. DISCOVER ARMS IN CHARCOAL SACKS ARRESTS TWO SUSPECTS  Operatives of the Nigeria Customs Service have intercepted large number of arms and ammunitions comprising pump action rifles, pistols, magazines and other live ammunitions in two different seaport locations in Lagos and some along Nigeria’s border with the Republic of Benin.
